I specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders of all kinds
Hi, I’m Chloe and I’ve been part of the therapy and change-work field for over seventeen years. I specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders of all kinds (having been through one myself) and everything that goes hand-in-hand with them – depression, anxiety, OCD, self harm, body dysmorphia, trauma, addiction and more.
I have a lot of experience in working with teens and young adults. As a consequence, I also work with many parents & carers who often need a lot of education, encouragement and support as they navigate the sometimes overwhelming and regularly challenging world of recovery with their kids. Eating disorders affect the entire family, so working holistically is vital in helping someone to get better.
I’m a Mum to three teenage daughters myself so I know just how demanding family dynamics and relationships can be at the best of time, whether or not there are the added complexities of mental wellbeing or neurodiversity to consider.
Partners are also welcome to work with me. Adults who newly develop an eating disorder, or who have relapsed, or who have been struggling for a long time sometimes require a different approach to getting better and the support they receive from their partners is absolutely key in their recovery process.
I love my work and all I want is to help guide people to understand what’s going on underneath the surface of their behaviours so that they can let go of the things that are holding them back and can go on to live their lives happily and healthily, being the best versions of themselves that they can be.
I am also an accredited supervisor and work with other therapists – both newly qualified and those who have many years of client experience – to help them improve their skills and therefore help their clients achieve their goals.
I work exclusively online and have supported people all over the world on their recovery journeys. Please do feel free to reach out and ask me any questions you might have about me; my approach to eating disorders; the type of therapy that I offer; what it might be like to work with me; and/or anything else you would like to know.
